Prepare Jasmine rice with this one!

  • 2 T oil or ghee + 2 T oil for paneer
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 indian bay leaves
  • 2 cups yellow lentils
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp giner
  • 1 T tumeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tsp lemonjuice

Instructions...

Soak lentils for one hour and wash. Heat the oil in a large pot over a medium-high flame. When hot, add the onion and spices and cook until onions become soft. Add the tomatoes and cook to thick, around 3 minutes. Add 2/1/2 cups water and lentils, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
