Well, here I am at the starting line. Overall I was pretty confident that I would finish, and the energy of the runners gathering for the race assured me I would do well, but in the end I was a bit concerned that things would turn out bad because I had a fractured foot, and I had a slight limp going into the race!

Still, spirits were high, and I had Julie cheering me on...
